「ふすま紙といえば、鳥の子紙」そう言われるほど有名なふすま紙です。紙色が「鶏卵の殻」に似ていることから、この名がつけられたといわれています。特漉きとは、機械漉きの鳥の子紙です。 Celebrated as the quintessential fusuma paper, Torinoko was named for its resemblance to "egg shell." "Special Machine-Made" refers to Torinoko paper produced using machines.
