1500年もの歴史を持つ越前和紙の技術と、特許取得の柿渋タンニンの融合により生まれた高機能壁紙。ポリフェノールの一種である柿渋タンニンの防腐・防虫・防水効果は平安時代より知られ、広く利用されてきました。近年の研究により、柿渋タンニンが強力な抗ウイルス作用を持つことが証明され、また、消臭や除菌に加え、ホルムアルデヒドなどの揮発性有機化合物を吸着・中和する能力があることが立証されています。紙の原料には、古紙やこれまで廃棄されていた木材チップを使用するなど、環境にも配慮しています。 Echizen Washi Wallpaper This high-functioning wallpaper combines 1,500 years of Echizen washi craftsmanship with patented persimmon tannin technology. Known since the Heian period for its antibacterial, insect-repellent, and water-resistant properties, recent studies have confirmed persimmon tannin’s strong antiviral effects and ability to neutralize formaldehyde and other VOCs. The wallpaper also uses recycled materials, making it an environmentally conscious choice.
