埼玉県大宮市で新たに美容室を開業するプロジェクト。店名の「serein（セレイン）」という言葉はフランス語で「心静かな、穏やかな、澄んで静かな」を意味する。店名の由来から計画し始めることにした。 テナントは暗がりの空間を抜けるとたどり着く旗竿地のようになっており、テナント内は２方向から光が入ってくるようになっていた。このテナントの構成を活かし、洞窟のような空間を抜けると心地の良い広がりを感じられような場所にしたいと考えた。 澄んだ静けさを体現する為に水、水盤、雨、白滝などをイメージした要素を取り入れている。窓際には雨や白滝をイメージしたレースカーテンを設え、周辺環境を操作するとともに気持ちの良い風が水の合間を縫って入ってきそうな表情としている。床の一部はそれらの水が長年蓄積されて出来た水盤が張られたような仕上とした。機能的な要素はすべて抽象的な壁の後ろに集約した。半外部空間のような場所をつくる事で居心地の良さにつながるのではないかと考えている。 This is a project to open a new beauty salon in Omiya City, Saitama Prefecture. The name of the salon, "Serein," means "calm, peaceful, clear and quiet" in French. We decided to start planning from the origin of the salon name. The tenancy is like a flagpole lot that you reach after passing through a dark space, and light enters the tenancy from two directions. Taking advantage of this tenancy structure, we wanted to create a place where you can feel a comfortable sense of spaciousness after passing through a cave-like space. In order to embody a clear and tranquil atmosphere, elements that evoke images of water, water basins, rain, and shirataki waterfalls are incorporated. Lace curtains that evoke rain and shirataki waterfalls are installed by the windows, manipulating the surrounding environment while creating the impression that a pleasant breeze is filtering in through the gaps in the water. Part of the floor is finished to look like a water basin that has formed over the years of water accumulation. All functional elements are concentrated behind an abstract wall. We believe that creating a place that feels like a semi-exterior space will lead to a comfortable atmosphere.
