伝統と革新が融合する眼科クリニックのプロジェクトである。 品川駅直結の高層ビルに位置し、世界でも数台しか導入されていない最先端の医療機器を備えることで、国内外からの来訪者を想定している。 本計画では、医療機能の高度化にとどまらず、日本の伝統美やもてなしの精神を空間体験として織り込むことを試みた。 16階からの眺望を最大限に活かし、眼前に広がる都市の建築群、関東平野の広がりといった風景を取り込みながら、内と外が緩やかに呼応する場を構成している。 都市と自然、先端医療と文化的背景が重なり合うことで、訪れる患者にとって医療行為そのものを超えた、特別な空気感をもって迎え入れるクリニックを目指した。 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project proposes an ophthalmology clinic where tradition and innovation converge. Located in a high-rise building directly connected to Shinagawa Station, the clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices—among only a limited number in the world—anticipating visitors from both Japan and abroad. Beyond the advancement of medical functionality, the project seeks to weave Japanese traditional aesthetics and the spirit of hospitality into the spatial experience. Taking full advantage of the panoramic views from the 16th floor, the design incorporates the surrounding urban skyline and the vast expanse of the Kanto Plain, forming a space in which interior and exterior gently resonate with one another. By layering city and nature, advanced medical technology and cultural context, the clinic aims to welcome patients with an atmosphere that transcends medical treatment, offering a distinct and contemplative experience.
